Breaking Bad is an American crime drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan for AMC. Set and filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston), an underpaid, dispirited high-school chemistry teacher struggling with a recent diagnosis of stage-three lung cancer.    Storyline

Breaking Bad follows Walter White, a struggling high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. To secure his family’s financial future, Walter turns to cooking and selling methamphetamine with former student Jesse Pinkman. As their drug empire grows, Walter adopts the alias "Heisenberg" and descends into the criminal underworld, facing dangerous rivals, moral compromises, and strained relationships. Over time, his motivations shift from providing for his family to feeding his pride and lust for power, leading to tragic consequences for everyone involved. The series explores themes of morality, transformation, and the cost of ambition.
