Pushpa 2: The Rule
is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, in association with Sukumar Writings. The film stars Allu Arjun in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj.

Storyline

Pushpa 2 second instalment in the Pushpa film series and the sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. The film follows Pushpa, a coolie risen to the ranks of sandalwood smuggler, who struggles to sustain hisbusiness as he faces tough opposition from the police led by Shekhawat.

As Pushpa seeks to solidify his rule over the illicit trade, he faces the wrath of the law and his enemies, including an ambitious cop, played by Fahadh Faasil, who becomes a major antagonist. The movie delves into Pushpa’s ambition, resilience, and his fight against the oppressive system, ultimately establishing him as a ruthless yet sympathetic anti-hero.

The sequel is expected to feature intense action, emotional drama, and powerful character arcs, continuing the high-energy narrative from the first film.
